This photo was shot in Downtown, Vancouver. At first, I wanna exaggerate the shade on the ground, but then I realized that the overall tone of the picture is really dark. I needed a subject that can light up the whole picture and be the main focus. Then i came across these benches with orange coloured umbrellas. Orange and blue are contrasting colours which means they are the direct opposite of each other on the colour spectrum. Contrasting colours can results in high exaggeration, and that's exactly what I need. There is the shot and the process.
